I’ve had the pleasure of working with Michael to update my Ballroom Made Simple website. We began the process in 2013 when my webmaster moved out of the area. He was recommended to me from a community contact. He willingly shares his knowledge, makes recommendations based on your vision, & provides necessary training, He has made upgrades that have become invaluable to me as a small business. I would highly recommend him if you are planning to do the same or if you are in the process of designing a new website. He is prompt in his replies and has always come through on his projects in a very timely manner.

The Need:

Fisher Architecture needed a website that would be easy to maintain by staff and allow Fisher Architecture the ability to add projects across different market sectors, showcase upcoming projects, post news items, and take resume submissions. The identified needs included:

  • Website with fully featured Content Management System (CMS) to easily:
    • add / edit pages
    • add / edit news releases
    • add / edit projects
    • online image galleries
    • online resume submission
    • edit content
    • allow staff to maintain all appropriate website content

…and all through a web based system that was easy to use and scalable to grow.

The Solution:

  • Two Rider Design:
    • Provided the graphical layout to build a customized theme.
  • Spotlight Web Design:
    • We took Two Rider Design’s layout and hand coded a customized WordPress as a content management system(CMS) to allow staff at Fisher Architecture to perform all of the tasks identified in the needs above.

As part of our on-going mission to provide the best possible user experience, this site was designed as responsive web design (RWD), using HTML5 and CSS3. This means that users will have the appropriate experience while using the site regardless of using the site on a PC, Mac, or a mobile device. Website layout changes based on device and is designed to maximize the end user experience.
